Citius, Altius, Fortius

The Olympic motto Citius, Altius, Fortius  –  Latin for Faster, Higher, Stronger
The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, coloured blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field. This was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin


On 30 March 2020, the IOC and TOCOG announced they had reached an agreement on the new dates for the 2020 Summer Olympics, which would begin on 23 July 2021 with the Opening Ceremony, and with the Closing Ceremony to take place on 8 August 2021
